Ginger Cone

If you're looking for something unique and unusual, look no further than the Ginger Cone! This remarkable plant offers an incredible selection of varieties, each one more intriguing than the last. Some resemble dense pinecones, while others appear almost otherworldly, both in shape and colour. When you gaze upon a Ginger Cone, it instantly evokes thoughts of the tropics with its lush, vibrant colours and captivating form.

These plants thrive in filtered sunlight, much like their rainforest cousins, and love consistent moisture during the growing season. However, they require less water during their rest period. As you'd expect from rainforest natives, they also adore humidity and warmth. Dry air will cause them to go dormant and prevent flowering. Once established in the garden, and given the optimal growing conditions, Ginger Cones are surprisingly resilient and can grow quickly, reaching heights of up to 5 feet and 2 feet in width.

Due to their size, Ginger Cones are best suited for garden spaces, greenhouses, or conservatories, where they can make a dramatic statement. As cut flowers, they boast an impressive vase life of up to 3 weeks, adding exotic flair to any arrangement. Available in both artificial and fresh (when in season), the Ginger Cone is the perfect way to bring a touch of the tropics into your home.
